What is a Composite / Corded Strap?
Lifting
Composite Strapping (commonly
known as Cord Strap, Corded Polyester Strapping, or Corded Strap) is a
high-strength, flexible, and lightweight bundling material made from
high-tenacity polyester filaments.
Unlike
standard woven straps, a composite strap consists of parallel polyester
yarns encased in a high-quality polypropylene coating. This protective polymer
jacket shields the load-bearing fibers from abrasion, sharp edges, and chemical
breakdown while providing exceptional grip when locked inside heavy-duty wire
buckles.
Designed
to replace traditional steel strapping and round wire, corded strap offers
comparable break strength with far superior safety, flexibility, and impact
recovery.
